ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE (Drawing Emotion From the Headlines)

Distorted Democracy 2020 (An unfinished series)

As a mixed media artist mostly working with paint and collage, I use abstraction as my language of choice. Stimulated by the world we live in and our connections to each other - I tend to comment and react to what I see. My latest series has changed gears a bit and I’ve used photography rather than the brush or scissors to say what I feel needs to be said.

Exploration of the Vertical

From crowded inner city buildings to the less inhabited countryside, I've been examining the soaring world around us. I am interested in distilling my impressions into the basics of form. My materials are both traditional and untraditional.
